What We Do

We’re an event planning and production company built on storytelling, cultural understanding and thoughtful design. We call ourselves experience architects because we know people as well as we know design, and we use both to take your events beyond the celebration.

Every detail is created to honour who you are, where you come from and what you believe in. We begin every process with intention, turning your stories into experiences that celebrate your journey and stay with your guests long after the last toast.

Take A Look At Our Work

Process

  • We don’t rush into planning; we begin by listening. Listening to your vision, your memories, your mood boards, and even the feelings you can’t quite put into words. From there, we build a clear foundation that aligns your dream with our creative direction.

  • This is where we start turning your words into a visual story and creativity begins to take form. We’ll explore colour palettes, textures and design concepts that capture your essence. Our choices for you are all intentional, ensuring that what guests see, feel, and remember is consistent with the story you’re telling.

  • Now that we’ve agreed on a vibe it’s time to source. From sourcing venues that fit your mood-board, to curating the right team of vendors and materials, we handle all the details and communications that will take us from design to reality.

Osasu Okuonghae

Our Founder

Osasu is the heart of The Event Strategist. She has a natural way of bringing order to complexity, turning big ideas into clear, thoughtful plans. For her, a celebration isn’t just a gathering — it’s a milestone that shapes stories and honours legacies.

What makes her work stand out is how she looks past décor and timelines to the emotion at the centre of every event. Behind each detail, she sees the dream or hope that inspired it. With Austrian, Nigerian, and British roots, Osasu brings a unique cultural perspective, blending tradition with innovation to create experiences that are as beautiful as they are personal.
