Design Journey
Where It Started
The bride wanted her traditional wedding to feel elegant yet deeply rooted in her culture and that of her husband’s. The design focused on blending authentic Edo and Delta-Igbo elements such as coral beads, vibrant fabrics and symbolic rites with a modern presentation for a seamless celebration.
We began with the cultural framework: identifying the traditional rites, the attire for the bride, the groom, their families and the bridal party. All while considering the decor that would complement the grandeur of an Edo traditional wedding. The goal was to respect heritage while ensuring comfort, flow, and a celebratory atmosphere.
How It Ended
The day unfolded beautifully with a well-coordinated programme, stunning attire, and décor that balanced tradition with style. The bride and groom were celebrated in true Edo fashion, surrounded by love, colour, and culture.
